My name is Jessica Parsons. I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington USA, After I finished a degree in Cultural Anthropology, I became interested in Environmental Restoration and Education. I participated in two unique projects abroad. The first in a small village in the Yucatan, Mexico, where I learned to sleep in a hammock and helped build a boardwalk path through the mangroves and the second in a cloud rainforest outside Quito, Ecvador where we collected and classified orchids, built trails, recorded birdcalls and and saw worms the size of snakes. Since then my interest in traveling has explored. Over the past 2 and1/2 years I have lived in and explored New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and now China.

　　My goal is to travel and work around the world for as long as I am happing doing so, and in the meantime meet new people, live in different cultures and environments, learn new languages.
